In October 2009 Temperzone Australia and Hitachi formed a strategic alliance that saw Temperzone become the the exclusive distributor of Hitachi Air Conditioning products in Australia.
Hitachi is one of the largest Japanese air conditioning manufacturers. It is also a manufacturer of heavy engineering equipment, transportations systems, electronics, power tools and consumer appliances.
2010 is Hitachi’s 100th anniversary and has had an air conditioning presence in Australia for over 25 years.
Hitachi has been an innovator in development of consumer air conditioning products for over 30 years and produced the first functional inverter air conditioner and was also an early developer of the scroll compressor. Both of these systems are widely used across the air conditioning industry today.
